For a kids' guitar, this is made with surprising quality for the price...Tinted Maple neck, stays in tune, bi-directional truss rod; I put the straight edge and rocker on the frets...I have to say I'm impressed. I am very happy with my purchase to say the least. My beautiful little guitar came promptly after ordered and was easy to track. The quality of my guitar is impeccable! nothing was missing from my order, wonderful! Tuned it up and was rocking that afternoon. It's hard to find such good service these days, I would like to say thank you very much! I would definitely buy from this company again and recommend it to anyone, I am a 54 year old women with small hands and a bad back so this small guitar is just perfect for me. Thanks Again! We are very happy with the purchase of the SE medium size lefty electric guitar w/maple fretboard black for our eight-year old son. Small Guitar´s attention was excellent. Right now, our son is continuing taking guitar lessons with a certified professor, who considers it has a nice weight, finished, and sound. All the electric system works well and it is very competitive with other distinguished brand guitars. My daughter loves the guitar. We had looked at some small guitars in toy stores and department stores and they just didn't have the quality I wanted in an instrument. We did a web search and found Small Guitars and liked the look of the photos and the statement that these were good instruments first. The guitar arrived and I was really impressed by the quality. The fit and finish is first rate, the materials all excellent, and it had very good action. For the money this was the best small guitar I have seen. I would gladly buy another. - T K, MI I bought this guitar for my 7 Year old son - After contemplating several models, I chose this one. It was not easy to find a guitar like this, but I am very glad I did! The scale length is perfect, not too short - The guitar plays very nicely with Standard 009 strings tuned to concert pitch. What impresses me the most about this guitar is the quality - it is all solid wood, and very inexpensive! I had to adjust the truss rod and intonation, and now the guitar plays like a dream – The short scale makes it very easy to bend notes! The electronics are very good, great tone and smooth potentiometers! If you are thinking of buying a Squire, think again – This guitar is much better! Even though I bought this for my Son, I can play it too! It is the best of both worlds, small enough for him, but large enough that he will not out-grow it. A simply amazing piece, and a fantastic bargain! |
