Note: for best pitch and tuning stability it is recommended to tune this guitar up a fourth.

This guitar has a very short scale which means that in order to be able to play it in standard guitar tuning you would need to either fret very gently or use heavier guage strings (such as 0.11 or heavier). Alternatively you can tune up the guitar a fourth (i.e. A D G B E A instead of the standard E A G D B E). For kids under 3 that would just 'strum' on the guitar an open G Chord tuning (G D G B D G) may be a good idea.

I was pleasantly surprised by quality and playability of the guitar right out of the box. The neck has an excellent feel and the pickups sound great for the price range. My only concern was the bridge was not grounded with a soldered connection and there was a little buzzing when not making contact with the strings. However considering the price point this is a minor problem that can easily be fixed. All in all, excellent value and great service too.

I like this guitar. It sounds very nice and stays in tune.
