A very nice medium size electric guitar, size somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4. Designed with girls in mind. Very nice finish sound and feel. Made of lightweight Basswood and slim neck profile for easy play. Comes with a nice custom padded gig bag. Great choice for girls.

I bought this guitar for myself because I'm very small, with small hands, and every time I try to progress past open chords and single notes I run into left-hand positions that I just can't do. With this guitar it's a stretch but I can reach from the first to the fifth fret! I'm used to higher-quality guitars, so I could get picky about the hardware and setup. I'd definitely recommend using heavier strings and tweaking the action, but for under $200 this is a well-constructed, solid guitar. And did I mention I can reach from the first to the fifth fret! This is from a non-professional "hacker" perspective. I recently picked up the guitar again after 20 or so years. Got an epiphone SG. My 9 year old daughter was quite interested and I asked her if she would like to learn, I could show her. She said yes. My guitar seemed a bit heavy for her so I set out on a search and found the Small Guitar site. After a little looking, (my daughter said she wanted a red one) I found at least visually a perfect guitar. Shipping was secure and fast. It is a beautiful guitar, and honestly, even though it has only one pickup, it sounds almost as good as my SG with 2 Gibson's on it. All in all, I really like this guitar, and sometimes I do practice on it. |
