I bought this guitar for myself because I'm very small, with small hands, and every time I try to progress past open chords and single notes I run into left-hand positions that I just can't do. With this guitar it's a stretch but I can reach from the first to the fifth fret! I'm used to higher-quality guitars, so I could get picky about the hardware and setup. I'd definitely recommend using heavier strings and tweaking the action, but for under $200 this is a well-constructed, solid guitar. And did I mention I can reach from the first to the fifth fret!
